Kids for the Cure

Helping our Community

Alyssa Ruesing from Buffalo Ridge Elementary School in Cheyenne was selected as the 2008 winner of the Susan G. Komen Wyoming Kids for the Cure T-shirt design contest.  Over 150 designs were sent from students from across the state. The winning design was placed on the the Kids for the Cure® T-shirt which was given to children who participated in Wyoming’s annual Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure®—either the fun walk or the 5K walk/race.

Alyssa was recognized on Race day and received two complimentary Race applications and two invitations to the sponsor reception at the Wyoming Governor’s residence in Cheyenne.
